Modification of Custody and SupportChild support and custody arrangements are never "permanent" and remain subject to modification in the event of a "material" change of circumstances. The existence of a change of circumstances, however, will remain the first hurdle to clear when a party is seeking a modification. Only after it determines that circumstances have, indeed, materially changed, will the court take up the question of how to address the change in a modification. |
